General Policies
The Canadian Southern Baptist Seminary is an institution of the Canadian Convention of Southern Baptists and has as its basic purpose to provide theological education for individuals preparing for Christian ministry. In its admission policies, the seminary assumes the student has been identified as a prospective minister by announced intent, proven conduct in accordance with Christian standards set forth in the Bible, membership in a local church, and active involvement in the ministries of that church.
Age Requirements
The Undergraduate Programs are designed for mature students. Undergraduate students are required to be at least 22 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Exceptions to the age requirement may be granted to spouses of regularly enrolled students.
No age requirement is placed upon graduate students though a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university is a prerequisite to enter the Masters of Divinity or Masters of Religious Education Programs.
