Immigration

All students from outside Canada must obtain permission from the Government of Canada to enter Canada.  Students should apply early for this permission to allow time for obtaining the necessary papers.  The publication Studying in Canada: Facts for Foreign Students is available from the Canadian Consulate in countries outside Canada.

Applicants from other countries must furnish proof of adequate medical insurance, be prepared to furnish an Affidavit of Support, and send complete information and record of their academic background.  Immigration policy allows spouses of students to work off-campus upon the purchase of a work permit.

No student from outside Canada should make plans to come to the Canadian Southern Baptist Seminary until his/her immigration papers are in proper order.
